The Council of Asia-Pacific Alliance was held in Malaysia's capital, Kelongbo

In March 2016, the Asia-Pacific Alliance held a council meeting in Malaysia's capital, Kelongbo. At the council meeting, Yang Shiyan, the representative of the Chinese council member, was elected as the chairman of the Asia-Pacific Alliance, and the secretariat of the Asia-Pacific Alliance was moved to Beijing. The secretariat carried out corresponding activities for the alliance under the leadership of the Chairman.
