The 2018 Asia Pacific Film Cooperation Forum held hot words in the new media eco-development industry
On Feb 9, 2018, the Asia-Pacific Film Cooperation Forum was officially held at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing. More than 100 guests from member organizations of China Film Association, China Film Producers Association, Asia-Pacific Film Producers Alliance and other prospective member organizations, the Embassy in China and the Business Alliance of Diplomatic Envoys in China, as well as industry representatives from many film and television media organizations attended the forum.

The forum will discuss the development status of the Asia-Pacific film market in the form of keynote speeches, forum exchanges and in-depth dialogues. Yang Shiyan, Chairman of the Asia Pacific Film Producers Association and Wang Fenglin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Film Producers Association delivered speeches respectively. The Chinese and foreign guests analyzed the development trend of the Asia-Pacific film market in recent years from different aspects such as talent, path, content production and capital, and further discussed plans to establish new cooperation mechanisms and platforms, so as to deepen the strategic partnership, enhance the integrated development of the Asia-Pacific film industry and enhance the competitive edge of the regional film market.

Professor Tang Rong, Professor of China Film Art Research Center and Vice President of China Film Newspaper, delivered the keynote speech "Mutual Benefit and Win-win: New Media Film Production and Communication", which won strong resonance from the guests and triggered the discussion. Professor Cao Sansheng, vice president of New Media Research Institute of Communication University of China and executive vice president of China Campus Micro Film Alliance, focused on the new field. With the theme of Vision and Future of New Media Film and Television, he discussed the development direction of new media forms such as online TV and online drama in the future. In the research on the development of Asian film, Ren, a professor of Beijing Normal University and professor of Asian and Chinese Film Studies, delivered a keynote speech titled Film Is the Image World Composed of Human Modality and Psychological Expectation -- Taking Asian Film as an Example, which was highly recognized by the members of the Asia Pacific Alliance present.
In the interactive session, Yu Yong, director of the Executive Committee of Asia Pacific Film Festival and representative of Zhejiang Jinzhang Good-neighborly Investment Management Co., Ltd. analyzed the industry from the perspectives of film and television investment and financing, foreign film introduction and Chinese and foreign co-production, and announced that Zhejiang Jinzhang Management Co., Ltd. will invest in a number of Chinese and foreign co-production projects worth over 100 million yuan in 2018.

The booming Chinese film market has attracted many foreign guests and foreign films to participate in this forum. The Cultural Counselor of the Iranian Embassy in China, Mohanzadeh Rasuri Alimasye, introduced the current situation of Iranian film development and preferential policies for foreign cooperation to the members of the Alliance and the guests present. Guests from Pakistan, Vietnam and other countries and regions delivered keynote speeches. Relevant officials from the Hungarian Embassy in China went to the event site to promote Hungarian film and television projects. During the promotion of the project, Chinese films such as Judah Refugee and Shanghai, The Last Pigtail, The Legend of Four Girls, Yellow Rose Forever and The Wind Returns to the Nest were well received.
