Announcement of the 60th Asia Pacific Film Festival

After a gap of four years, the 60th Asia Pacific Film Festival kicked off and officially introduced the film, which is scheduled to hold red carpet and award ceremony and other activities in Macao from November 23 to November 25, 2024. As one of the most influential and well-known film festivals in the Asia-Pacific region, Lin Qingxia, Anita Mui, Maggie Cheung, Ruoying Liu, Chow Yun-fat, Stephen Chow, Cheung Ka-fai and so on have won the Asia Pacific Film Festival awards. The Asia Pacific Film Festival is committed to providing a platform for the exchange, display and cooperation of filmmakers in the Asia Pacific region.

On the basis of the original unit, the Asia Pacific Film Festival has added a special entry for film and television practitioners in the name of individual competition, aiming to encourage more individual creators to show their talent and creativity, and bring more diversified film works to the global audience. At the same time, in order to recognize and motivate the contributions and efforts of social groups and organizations in the field of film, the unit awards of "Star Cradle" and "Riding the Waves" were specially set up.

We sincerely invite domestic and foreign film production teams or individuals to actively participate in this Asia Pacific Film Festival. The issue of the levy is hereby announced as follows:

Registration process

1. Log in to the official website of Asia Pacific Producers Alliance and fill in the registration form as instructed;

2. Read and agree to the "Regulations for the 60th Asia Pacific Film Festival";

3. Send the film to the Alliance of Asian Pacific Film Producers at apff2023@126.com(please use the name of the film + contact information).

4. Registration is free of charge.

Entry requirements

Feature film registration for units or organizations:

1. Feature films, documentaries and cartoons produced after June 1, 2020; World premieres and international premieres are preferred;

2. The film length is not less than 70 minutes, with full Chinese and English subtitles. If the dialogue of the registered film is not in Mandarin or English, Chinese or English subtitles must be added;

3. Projection medium: DCP;

Organization or organization short film registration:

1. Reality show short films and animated short films produced after June 1, 2020;

2. Film length control is greater than or equal to 10 minutes and less than or equal to 40 minutes, complete Chinese and English subtitles;

3. The video is in unencrypted DCP or 24 frame or 48 frame digital HD format and is not encrypted; And meet the relevant sound and picture projection requirements;

Individual feature film, short film registration:

1. Feature films or short films produced after June 1, 2020;

2. Proof of participation in the creation, shooting, production and distribution of the work shall be provided, including but not limited to the name of the opening and ending credits, relevant labor contract, performance contract, or personal documents sealed by the production or distribution company;

3. Feature films (including feature films, documentaries, etc.) must obtain a "Public Release Permit";

4. Short films (including micro films, micro short plays, micro short summaries, etc.) shall be filed and approved by relevant departments; Works that have not been registered and meet the requirements of relevant national laws and regulations must be contacted by the provincial film and television industry association or competent authorities for confirmation.

5. The length of a feature film shall not be less than 70 minutes; The length of the short film is not less than 10 minutes, and the length of the single episode is not less than 2 minutes, with full Chinese and English subtitles. If the dialogue of the registered film is non-Mandarin Chinese or non-English, Chinese or English subtitles must be added;

6. Long film projection medium must be DCP, personal short film must be unencrypted DCP or 24 frame or 48 frame digital HD format, and meet the relevant sound and picture projection requirements.
